WarRoom · Site policies

Last updated: July 7, 2026.

WarRoom is a free, independent research project built to collect as little about you as possible. This policy explains what that means today. If we ever add analytics, advertising, accounts, or payments, we will update this policy and this page before doing so.

No accounts, no sign-up, no payments

You can use the entire Site without creating an account or giving us any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to use WarRoom.

We don't track you

We do not use advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share personal information.

Information stored on your own device

To remember your preferences, we save a small amount of data in your browser's local storage — currently your chosen favorite team and whether you have dismissed a one-time tip. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Standard server logs

Our host (Cloudflare Pages) may keep standard technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, and time of request — to operate and secure the Site. We do not use these to identify you.

Content loaded from third parties

To show player headshots, team and college logos, and web fonts, your browser loads those files directly from third-party servers, including NFL.com, ESPN (a.espncdn.com), and Google Fonts. As part of any normal web request, those providers receive your IP address and browser information, handled under their own privacy policies. We do not send them anything about you beyond what your browser needs to load an image or font.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can clear local storage, block third-party requests, or use private browsing through your browser's settings at any time.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Questions: [email protected].
